Cleaner for building facades heavily soiled by atmospheric pollution

• Guard Cleaner® Polluted Facades is a product specially designed for the cleaning of building façades heavily soiled by atmospheric pollution.
• Its wetting and penetrating action is perfect for removing combustion residues and emulsifying dirt which can then be removed by rinsing.
• Application and the length of time you leave the product to act should vary according to the nature and extent of soiling as well as the type and porosity of the treated surface.

• Shake the product well before use and apply neat.
• Carry out a preliminary test on a small hidden portion of the substrate.
• Wet the surface with water.
• Apply the product liberally to the surface.
• Allow it to act from 15 to 60 minutes depending on the level of soiling.
• Do not allow the product to dry prior to rinsing.
• Rinse the surface with a high pressure cleaner, with hot water for more efficiency.
• Neutralise the surface with Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & Cement diluted (1:4) and then rinse.

• Store in a dry place at a temperature of between 5°C and 30°C.
• Shelf-life: 48 months from date of manufacture, in original unopened can.

• Guard Cleaner® Polluted Facades is an alkalinebased product, so prolonged contact on skin may cause burns. Always wear protective clothing, gloves and goggles.
• Protect aluminium, zinc, tin, copper, lead and glass.
• Apply with caution on painted materials.
• To obtain the best results on application, Guard Cleaner® Polluted Facades should be used when substrate’s temperature is comprised between 5°C and 30°C.
• Do not apply during rain, frost or heat. Air temperature should be comprised between 5°C and 30°C.

• Breathing protection: No breathing protection equipment is required under normal use conditions with suitable ventilation.
• Hand protection: Wear chemical resistant gloves (neoprene, PVC...).
• Skin protection: Wear protective clothing over exposed areas of skin.
• Eye protection: Wear protective goggles.
• In case of ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or specialist.

• Contains Sodium Hydroxide.

• To prevent future soiling, it is recommended to protect the surface with a protection treatment from the ProtectGuard® or ImperGuard® range.
