ProtectGuard® MG Eco is a product designed to protect low porosity substrates. It prevents penetration by water, oil, grease, weak acids (fruit juice, ketchup, etc.) as well as all types of soiling. ProtectGuard® MG Eco is a new generation water-based product that is significantly less hazardous than other products available in the market. Indeed, it is not classified as either corrosive or irritant. ProtectGuard® MG Eco is an impregnation, non film-forming product: treated materials remain permeable to air and water vapour. ProtectGuard® MG Eco is colourless and does not change the appearance or composition of the treated material. In addition, it is UV-resistant and does not discolor with age.

ProtectGuard® MG Eco can be used inside and outside on all vertical and horizontal surfaces. It is ideal for treating all low porous materials raw or soften: marble, granite, concrete, slate...
On porcelain stoneware, polished, crystallized or very low porous materials, use ProtectGuard® MG.
ProtectGuard® MG Eco is used for new and renovated constructions.

Apply using a roller, a brush, a microfiber cloth or flat mop.

Clean tools and equipment immediately after use with water.

• Apply the product to a surface that is clean, dust-free, greasefree and dry. To remove greasy stains use Guard Cleaner® Eco Soiled Floors. For efflorescence, laitance or concrete bloom use Guard Remover® Eco Efflorescence & Cement. Surface preparation ensures good efficiency of the treatment.
• Rinse carefully and wait until the surface is completely free from any cleaner marks before applying ProtectGuard® MG Eco.

Coverage depends on the porosity of the material. The figures below should be used only as a general guideline: 8 to 20m² / litre.

Stubborn dirt should be cleaned off with clean water or with a pH neutral cleaner.

Environment-friendly product:

• Respiratory protection: Under normal conditions of use where adequate ventilation is available, no special respiratory protection equipment is needed.
• Hand protection: Wear latex gloves.
• Skin protection: No special protective clothing or skin protection is required under normal conditions of use.
• Eye protection: If there is a real risk of splashing, wear protective goggles.
• If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or a specialist.
