High-performance water-repellent for all porous materials
High-performance water protection for all porous building materials.
ImperGuard® Premium is a high-performance water-repellent designed to protect porous walls, facades and roofs against damp. ImperGuard® Premium penetrates deep into the pores of materials to make them impermeable and therefore limit the negative effects caused by damp, water ingress, acid rain, erosion, icing/melting cycles, formation of moss and lichens, the appearance of efflorescence or saltpeter, etc.
 
ImperGuard® Premium is a non-film forming impregnation product, the material remains permeable to air and water vapour. Completely colourless after application, it does not change the appearance or the nature of the treated material (no risk of bleaching). It is also fully resistant to UV rays and does not yellow over time.
Used outside on porous façades and roofs. Ideal for all types of material: natural or reconstituted stone, concrete, plaster, brick, cement, terracotta or slate tiles etc.
  • Water-proofing agent providing in-depth protection to porous materials from penetration of rainwater and also avoids harmful effects due to seepage, acid rain, erosion, freeze/thaw cycle, formation of mosses and lichens, efflorescence etc.
  • Next generation impregnation product that does not produce films. It is colourless after application, it does not change the appearance nor the nature of the treated substrate. Very good U.V.-resistance, it does not turn yellow.
Apply with a low-power spray, roller or brush.
Clean tools and equipment used with water immediately after use.
Apply the product to a clean, dust-free, degreased and dry surface. To remove any black stains, pollution or soiling that invades the materials, use Guard® Wash Express
  • Use the product neat, do not dilute.
  • Shake the packaging well before use and carry out a preliminary test.
  • The substrate must be impregnated up to saturation in one or two “wet-on-wet” layers.
  • Do not overload the substrate, remove any excess after drying. For vertical surfaces, apply from bottom to top.
  • Drying protected: 24 hours.
  • Maximum effect reached after 7 days.

  • Store in a dry place at a temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Storage: 12 months from date of manufacture, in original packaging unopened.

  • Without petroleum solvents
  • Non-hazardous and non-toxic.
  • Biodegradable by more than 90%*
  • VOC < 2 g/l*
  • Only treat surfaces previously cleaned of all atmospheric pollution and stains.
  • Do not dilute or mix with another product.
  • Do not apply to organic, metal or impermeable materials. Frames and windows must be protected. Accidental colouring and stains must be cleaned immediately with water.
  • On some materials, the product may slightly accentuate the colour. Always do a test on the substrate to be treated before applying.
  • In case of contact with glass materials, immediately rinse with water.
  • For a perfect application and effective protection, the product must stirred and used when the temperature of the substrates is between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Do not apply in rainy or very hot weather. Air temperature between 5°C and 30°C.
  • Respiratory protection: No breathing apparatus is required under normal conditions of use provided there is adequate ventilation.
  • Protection of hands: Wear chemical-resistant gloves.
  • Skin protection: No special clothing or skin protection is recommended under normal conditions of use.
  • Protection of eyes: If there is a risk of splashing, wear protective goggles.
  • If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Contact a doctor or specialist.
Consumption
Consumption depends on the porosity of the material. The following figures are given for information: 6-10 m²/litre.
